General Carroll-Related Sites

The Lewis Carroll Homepage

This is the best place for links to other sites. The site has been around for many years and has built up a huge number of links, but there are no attempts to rate the accuracy or usefulness of the sites - so visitors need to be aware that not every site is worth the same attention.

Yahoo Discussion Group

The busiest Carroll related discussion group on the web is the Lewis Carroll Group at Yahoo. There is a mixture of contributors with some real experts amongst them. As with any discussion group there are a few whose responses need to be taken with a pinch of salt and some have their own biases, but generally, it is a good place to visit if you want an answer to a Carroll related question.

The publication of Lewis Carroll's bank account is a remarkable contribution to Carroll scholarship. The detailed transcription of the ledgers with accompanying notes and an introductory essay presents the researcher or writer with an unusual perspective on Carroll's life.
